Xiao Wu is only eleven but he leads a virtually self-reliant existence with his mother often away on business. Jung is a thirty-something Korean tenant in Xiao's building, depressed and aimless, he takes comfort in alcohol. Xiao's kleptomaniac tendencies lead him to sneak into Jung's room at 4:30 every morning, and steal from him as he lies in a drunken comatose. Soon a strange friendship is born between the two lonely souls.
